In 1998, the artist Jaak De Koninck met Patrick Gilis, the founder of Starbrook Airlines Chocolate. Together they designed the first packaging for a chocolate bar, called Lady ‘Milk Hazelnut’, laying the foundation for a successful collaboration between Belgian art and chocolate.
