Established by 21-year-old Thomas Burberry in 1856, Burberry is a global luxury fashion brand whose headquarters are located in London.

Thomas Burberry became famous for developing a first of its kind fabric called Gabardine, a breathable, water-resistant and strong material that was developed exclusively for the brand. Soon, the British Army adopted Burberry’s Gabardine and the famous Burberry trench coat.

Burberry is known for perfectly combining traditional British style with a modern elegance. Christopher Bailey, an English designer, took over Burberry during the 2000s and turned it into the successful luxury brand that it is today.

Burberry represents a diversified brand offering a large range of products, including apparel, accessories, fragrances and leather goods.
