The Corsendonk beer brand owes its name to the Corsendonk Priory, a former Augustinian convent, where the monks brewed beer and which closed in 1784. At the end of the 20th century, the production of the delicious Corsendonk beers was relaunched and the brewing tradition continued. Since then, the brand has become internationally famous.
