Johnnie Walker has since become one of the world’s best-known Scottish whisky brands. The story of Johnnie Walker commences in 1819. Young John Walker had a tough start in life, losing his father at an early age. Nonetheless he persevered.

In a sense, John was somewhat of a whisky genius. The single malts he bought at the grocers were never quite good enough. He ended up blending them to create the same exclusive flavour over and over again. His son followed in his footsteps, launching the ‘Old Highland Whisky’ blend. The brand continued to grow, generation after generation.
