There is always a good excuse to create a special gift box with Godiva. The chocolate brand owes its name to the wife of Joseph Draps, Pierre Jr.’s brother. Her nickname Lady Godiva was inspired by the English 11th-century legend about Lady Godiva, because she was so generous, passionate and courageous.

After his father’s death, Pierre Jr. followed in his father’s footsteps, continuing his life’s work. He used his expertise and innovative approach to create new chocolate recipes. Pierre Draps died in 2012, leaving a magnificent legacy.
