Pommery Pommery Brut Rosé 0,75 L Valentine's Gifts

This rosé is a faithful variation of classic Pommery Brut Royal created through the assembly of a red wine made with this mind, and different wines vinified in white, within a great proportion of Chardonnay. A blend of rosé and Pinot Noir of Bouzy Grand Cru. Its colour comes from Pinot Noir grapes, specially picked in the vineyards for their maturity, and slightly "fermented in their skins". This champagne is stored in a cellar for three years to develop the distinctive properties of Pommery Rosé.

Pommery’s lively and refined champagne is the perfect drink for any occasion. The Reims-based champagne house created its first cuvée in 1836. At the time, Louis Alexandre Pommery was the proprietor of this small champagne house, which sold less than 100,000 bottles every year.

Soon after, production was increased to approximately 2 million bottles a year. The company’s success is largely the merit of Pommery’s wife, who was widowed quite young, and who continued her husband’s life’s work after his death.
