Pommery’s lively and refined champagne is the perfect drink for any occasion. The Reims-based champagne house created its first cuvée in 1836. At the time, Louis Alexandre Pommery was the proprietor of this small champagne house, which sold less than 100,000 bottles every year.

Soon after, production was increased to approximately 2 million bottles a year. The company’s success is largely the merit of Pommery’s wife, who was widowed quite young, and who continued her husband’s life’s work after his death.
